A bit about ME:
While I’ve always had a love affair with all things tiny and shiny, I didn’t discover a passion for jewelry making until 2004. I’ve since become proficient in using a variety of techniques that include (but are not limited to) hand beading, metal smithing, wire work, stringing, knotting, etc.
…and a little about the WORK
Each piece of Jewelry is an original one of a kind design created with high quality stones, artisan created glass beads, Swarovski crystals, freshwater pearls, bohemian pressed glass, and Japanese seed beads. Metals used include fine and sterling silver, stainless steel, copper, brass, and pewter. “Found” and/or upcycled materials and objects are also used in some designs. All jewelry is made by me in my home studio in the central coastal plains of NC
Then there’s my little miracle clasp; don’t get me wrong now – I’m not saying my clasp is THAT wonderful, I’m saying that it’s miraculous to me that it’s proven to be so popular! I have to give credit where it’s due – The whole concept came about as a slightly misunderstood invitation from Kate McKinnon to come up with a removable clasp along the same principles as her Ram’s Head clasp. I will say the Walker is cute though 🙂
